In our first round, we ended
with 10 completed albums, in round 2, we ended with 42 albums!, and a total of an amazing 63 for Round 3!
We had our year anniversary with 13 albums! And round 5
netted 19 completed books!

Hello All Make a Wish
Helpers!!
As some of you know, we needed albums desperately, as we
were in a deficit from previous rounds, and I put out a "call" for help-- and of course-- our MAW helpers came thru! Sandy
M (snail) sent us 24 albums!!!! and Carrie (~Carrie~) sent us 14!!! So we now have enough to cover our deficit AND carry us
into round 5! (This doesn't mean we don't need albums, it just means we don't need them so desperately as before!) I've
also received a few 8.5x11 albums which we also needed DESPERATELY! We still need a few more of those, so if you have any
extra, please send em on!
NOW, for the exciting announcement I promised:
Every year, Make a Wish has to report "In-Kind"
donations. This is how our albums are classified (items received in kindness, that the organization did not have to purchase).
They
asked how much we estimated each album to be, if they were to have been consigned to be made. After putting our heads together,
it was determined that after time, supplies, albums, adhesives, shipping, etc., each album would be worth $100!
If you multiply this by the number of albums we have given MAW Central/Western NC, then we have donated a total
of
**$12,800!!!!!**
I think this is absolutely
amazing!!! And YOU guys are the ones who accomplished this!!!
